BOARD NOMINATIONS JANUARY 19, 2022
The Treasure Coast Blues Society (TCBS) had a successful year in 2021 despite some of the challenges affecting us all. Our membership has increased, our newly designed website provides a much better user experience, TCBS fundraiser events exceeded expectations, and we had the privilege of putting forth two wonderful blues acts to represent the Treasure Coast at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, among other achievements. This was possible because of the great support we received from our blues loving community.
Behind the scenes at TCBS is the Board of Directors who unselfishly work to keep the blues culture thriving. Each year there is a nominating process for all positions (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Board Members). Members of the Board receive no compensation for their work with TCBS. The Board members contribute whatever time their schedules permit for TCBS, and the impact is huge. It is truly a team effort! The Board does meet once a month to discuss TCBS business, plan events, and to vote on matters before the Board.
It is now open season for Board Nominations. If you, or someone you know, is a lover of blues music, and would like to dedicate a little time towards preserving our American Blues Art Form, we encourage you to submit your nomination to the Board for consideration.
THE DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS JANUARY 19, 2022 by midnight. You can send your nominations directly to TCBS via email at TCBLUESSOCIETY@GMAIL.COM or by filling out the form found on the CONTACT US page on our website www.treasurecoastbluessociety.org.
Thank you for all your support, and for making TCBS a stronger organization. We need you and look forward to working for our community in 2022 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Hawk Levy, TCBS President
